Group Description :

The group will be for a small number of members who might want to revise or further their Mathematics/Numeracy skills.  Activities will include revising some fundamental numerical skills and introducing puzzles. The group may possibly follow the new school GCSE syllabus or a course in numeracy, with the possibility of progression to Higher Mathematics at some stage. The group will also consider other aspect of Mathematics such as: *History and Culture of the subject *Possible uses in everyday life / work *Problem solving / puzzles *Its applications in Science, Technology and other subjects
