Dry Kurling is a team sport that can be played by all ages and abilities, on a badminton court. The aim of the game is to get a disc onto a target using a pusher (similar to a broomstick). Players are divided into two teams and take it in turns to get their discs closest to the target with the winner whose disc is closest to the 'bull's eye.'

Although we haven't been going very long, our members are already enjoying a friendly fun competitive afternoon.  Players are drawn randomly into two teams and compete one on one against each other.  All those who have attended are new to the game, but have picked up the skills fairly quickly as can be seen in the target below.  Of the eight stones available to be played six made it onto the target, much to the delight of the two lady competitors.

If you are looking for a fun game but not too sure of your physical capabilities, please feel free to come along and give it a try – we are sure you won’t be disappointed.
